We welcome back Soprano, Elin Pritchard to present a programme of much-loved opera arias and a beautiful piece sung in her native Welsh. The evening will include works by Puccini, Verdi, Rachmaninov and Mai Meirion Williams

Praised for her ravishing, passionate lyricism, impressive range and effortless technique, Elin is a force to be reckoned with on the operatic stage. Graduating with distinction from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and London’s National Opera Studio.

Recent performances include Musetta, La boheme and Ofglen, The Handmaid’s Tale, for English National Opera; Flower Maiden, Parsifal conducted by Richard Farnes and a last minute jump in to the title role of Rusalka at Garsington Opera and Edinburgh International Festival to great critical acclaim.

Last season, after a wonderful debut as Micaela in Carmen, Elin was thrilled to be returning to her national company WNO, as Mimi in La bohème.

Margaret Marinkovic

Margaret Marinkovic studied piano and cello prior to accompaniment at GSMD with Paul Hamburger and Peter Gellhorn. As a student, she participated in masterclasses with Hugues Cuenod, Geoffrey Parsons, and Roger Vignoles.

Margaret has coached, répétiteured and performed worldwide, and has been fortunate to work with Peter Pears, Richard Bonynge, Laura Sarti, Janis Kelly, Marianne Cornetti and Nelly Miricioiu.
